A new survey published in the NPJ Women’s Health Journal found that women from ages 30 to 40 may be experiencing symptoms associated with perimenopause, but in many cases, they don’t recognize the changes that are happening because they assume they’re too young. TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie shares a closer look at the findings and is joined by Dr. Jen Ashton, founder of the newsletter Ajenda, to break down perimenopause symptoms and how to seek treatment.
